DIY bracelet tutorial.

As many of you asked I decided to write a tutorial for making DIY plumbing supplies bracelets you saw in the last post. It's not the best but i hope can you understand;  ) It's actually quite easy to make them.

You need:
a leather belt with buckle, brass plumbing supplies (compression nuts, fittings etc.), scissors.

*Take a old leather belt which is narrow enough to go through the nuts.
*Mix and match some different compression nuts and brass fittings.
*Make a extra hole in the belt to fasten it around your hand.
*Cut away the longer part of belt or leave it and wrap around your hand like I did.

Samantha Pleet

We did another series of photos for Bona Drag with Tuuli. This time we got some very interesting stuff by New York designer Samantha Pleet. The fabric of these shorts and dress was made in the ancient Chinese tradition of burying china silk in mud for 2 months then hand dying it. click on links to see more pics

DIY plumbing supplies bracelets

I did a little DIY for the december issue of MOOD magazine which has already came out. My obsession over wearing many rings at once is definitely over, guess braceletes are my new love.
I got the idea when I was in Copenhagen for fashion week and saw Hanneli wearing similar bracelets by Danish designer Yvonne Koné. I thought they would make a good and cheap DIY project;)
You just need some brass fittings and compression nuts from the plumbing section and a old leather belt for making this one.

Skeleton Cut

Should continue with Tallinn fashion week posts as I promised.

So Britt Samoson collection started off the fashion week. Her human anatomy inspired prints and brown leather details were my favourites of the day. Not to mention those remarkable three-dimensional cuts. And after all it's quite wearable as well.

If I were I boy, that would be something I'd wear.

Heavy Mental put the same print on unisex t-shirts and it's available to order just for 13€. Today is the last chance to order, click here if you're interested. I already got mine;)

If you happen to live in Holland (and I know that some of you do) then go to the art and technology festival STRP and see talented Estonian designer Marit Ilison Lumine exhibit there. I'm sure it's going to be great, I wish I could be there as well. More information.

The long-awaited Tallinn fashion week is finally here! (yes, even Estonia has it's own fashion week, small but growing). Anyway I'm off to Tallinn tomorrow to attend shows and other events. Hopefully I come back with loads of photos for you guys; )
If you still don't have any plans for the Friday night then come and attend Šnäps! Besides good music there's also a fashion show with vintage store Fankadelik and my ear cuffs will be presented as well. See you there! more information
