dreamcatchers

This heat is killing me but least I have listed 3 new ear wraps on my etsy store. If somebody doesn't know what is ear wrap.. then I'm actually not sure how to explain.. It just goes around your ear, no ear piercings needed. The first one is with rooster feathers and this was also part of my collection at MoeP.A.R.K , the next one is with big white feathers and the third one has bunch of draped chains and some metal coins. I acutally have some more new stuff just no photos at the moment.
All three are available - here.

For first some announcements.
*I finally joined with tumblr world - http://holymoleydoitchloe.tumblr.com/. Well, I still have to work on its appearance and atm there's quite few stuff. But there's gonna be some inspiration, everything I like, some of my own photos and so on. Feel free to follow;)

*Estonian make-up/hair artist Marii Sadrak showed me their new fashion editorial "Jutta's Breakfast" which was published on TheOnes2Watch (online magazine which is featuring the fashion industry’s up and coming photographers, stylists, hair/makeup artists, designers and more.) Well, I'm very proud of them and suggest you to check it out too - here. I also spotted the editorial on FashionCopius and AnotherMag.

And here's just one maxi dress I picked up today. It's very light I would work great as a beach cover-up.

walk walk fashion baby

Teaser from today's photo shoot. I quite like the outfits we put together with Liisa. This is probably my favourite detail from the shoot - bit miu miu looking chunky heels and leopard socks. I have no idea how the real photos turned out but I hope I can show you more !

London&Paris

Here's my today's outfit. You can't see me in black very often but today is one of these days when I'm (almost) all in black. Wearing my new sheer cardigan I scored yesterday.

Since Celine has been becoming one of my favourite fashion houses recently I couldn't been more happier when I found this black Celine coat from thrift store. It's simple and warm but exactly what I need because seems that Estonian summer isn't still here.

/I'm wearing: coat - Celine/thrifted, wolf tee and sheer cardigan - thrift store, armour ring - by Benjamin, wedges - Vagabond/

But before I'm off to a photo shoot I decided to tell you about two books I've read recently. Both are from same series, it means that Estonian people who have moved out from Estonia are telling stories about their lives aboard.

Minu London (My London) by Anu Samarüütel-Long (be sure to check out her amazing and very inspirational blog - FashionSaboteur)

Wow, I was very excited when I heard about "Minu London" (My London) coming out and that it's written by a fashion designer. Enough to get me interested in. I finished the book with one day it was wonderful. Anu moved to London to study fashion design in Saint Central Martins and for me the chapters about life in school were the most interesting.  Whole book is full of humorous memorys and quirky details about life in London. It's one of these books you can't put down before you're finished and after all gives you a positive feeling!
It also works great as a travel guide if you have already seen or just not interested in usual sigthseeing Buckingham-Big Ben-London bridge. So be sure to read the book before going to London! I would bring out some places to visit but Susie from Stylebubble has already made a wonderful map of London must-go stores and boutiques:

I also went to the book presentation where Anu told us even more stories and showed loads of photos which weren't in book. I even got my book signed;)
Loe katkendeid raamatust - siin.

Minu Pariis (My Paris) by Urmas Väljaots

Well, it was my third time to read the book and it gets better with every time! Paris, I mean. The book has always been nice reading - funny and enjoyable. It brings out all the discomforts about living in Paris but you'll still love it because - it's Paris!

Both books are available at Rahvaraamat, Apollo and Petrone Print.

And now I'm in a headband making mood. Here's a new one, this time with little golden bullet casings. Get it here. I can also list up some more spiked headbands if you're interested.

DIY Rodarte fall 2010 shoes

I still can't get over how amazing are these Nicholas Kirkwood shoes for Rodarte fall 2010 (1145€ at LuisaViaRoma). Heel looking like covered with melted candle wax is stunning and also pretty DIYable! I decided to try this candle wax thing... though my version isn't definitely that cool and I'm still craving for original version.

But let's start from very beginning. Last week I received huge trash bag full of shoe samples from Vagabond/Bronx/Blink dealer here in Estonia. They thought maybe I want to use shoes as material (leather, chains, zippers, studs and so on) to create something new or try redesigning them. Otherwise these would have been burnt, because shoe samples are actually totally useless. So now.. I have loads of shoes in my room.. and it smells like a shoe store (yuck!). Some of them are from fall 2010 collection and aren't even available for sale yet.
For my luck I got one white shoe by Bronx which was perfect for this Rodarte DIY.

Here it is: (unfortunately I have only one shoe from each pair, as I said - these are just samples)

Start with dripping candle wax. It's easy, just hold a candle and the shoe horizontally.

Actually you can leave it like that but I added some ribbons to make it look more like Rodarte's.

DIY Celine spring/summer 2010 dress

After seeing Karmen wearing this lovely dress at Celine SS 2010 show

and after trying on this Celine inspired dress at Mango I decided to DIY.

For that one I grabbed a potato sack looking dress from a thrift store for 1$. I sewed black edges and add a black cord. Eeeeeeeeasy But actually quite time-consuming.

Seems like I'm in a DIY mood, at the moment I'm working on a Rodarte DIY project. And no, it's not a knitting, can you guess what is that?
